Friendly and bustling place to get this delicious pre-Columbian South American dish, which is naturally gluten-free. Served traditionally with yucca chips and salsa, it’s a popular takeout food at markets. Hola Arepa is almost completely gluten-free, with only a few items on their menu that contain gluten. They’re very knowledgeable about celiac disease, and coincidentally, when we were there, they didn’t have any of the gluten-containing foods on their menu, so their kitchen was completely GF!

This place is a must-visit when in town. Cutting out all colonial ingredients like wheat, pork, chicken, or dairy, this Native American restaurant is putting a twist on traditional dishes containing sweet potatoes, corn, wild rice, bison, or elk. It’s so unique and so delicious. And, of course, the whole restaurant is naturally 100% gluten-free.

Upscale restaurant by Lower Lake offers a few delicious gluten-free options on their menu. Along with a great selection of spirits and cocktails, it is definitely worth a try. Many dishes that are not explicitly GF can be amended to be gluten-free.
